This panel discussion series aimed to not only educate its delegates as their preparation for the upcoming conference, but also the general public. It has been the goal of this year’s DLSMUN Secretariat to make DLSMUN accessible and educational for all, especially for those who cannot afford to pay to become a delegate (who have been experiencing the exclusive benefits of Model United Nations Conference ever since). This panel discussion series is still accessible for free on their Facebook page.
“As the Director General of DLSMUN, I wanted to create a multiple path approach [in] tackling the problems caused by a pandemic through an international effort spearheaded by the generation of the future. We aim not only to connect our solutions but also the people through panel discussions and trainings, in the hope that their advocacies do not stop once the conference is over,” 7th DLSMUN Director General Gio Almonte shared.
