Saturday, Mar 16, 2024 - Saturday, Mar 16, 2024
IECON by the Industrial and Management Engineering Society is back at it again with the tagline
“Innovation Anchored in Resilience”. The event will be held in Verdure, 4th Floor Henry Sy, Sr. Hall in
De La Salle University on March 16, 2024 starting from 9:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM.
Last year's IECON was a blast towards the future with its focus on the digital world with its
tagline “Digital Frontiers Reimagined''. Evident by the tagline, the topics were about digitalization with
topics ranging from Web 3 to the digitalization of the world. All taught by industry leaders including
Lorenzo Formoso, Senior Director for Internal Relations of Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of
Commerce, Three Eugenio, Vice President & Business Unit General Manager of Nissin-Universal Robina
Corporation, and Benjamin Azada, Concurrent Chief Sustainability Officer of Converge ICT Solutions
Inc. The speakers talk made an impact on the contestants making them learn a variety of things in the
process
This year's IECON will be pushing boundaries even further than last year, tackling the macro side
of Industrial Engineering. The topics of the event will focus on the interrelationship of industrial
processes, resilience of global supply chains, and techniques to make businesses prosper under
uncertainty. Just like last year’s IECON, IMES will be bringing industry leaders to discuss these topics.
Thereby, bridging the gap between Industrial Engineering students and Business Leaders, one of IECON’s
founding principles. So, what are you waiting for? Kindly register for the event here:
