The CCP Open Grounds in Pasay City became the beating heart of OPM as Fusion: The Philippine Music Festival returned to celebrate 10 years of music, culture, and connection last Saturday, March 15. 

From the first note to the final encore, the lineup delivered more than just music. It delivered moments. Ben&Ben’s heartwarming melodies wrapped around the crowd like a familiar hug, Zack Tabudol’s beats hit deep in the chest, and Alamat’s infectious energy made sure no one could stand still. 

December Avenue’s lyrics tugged at heartstrings, while Maki’s performance was nothing short of a full circle moment – sharing how he once stood in the crowd of Fusion Manila, dreaming of the day he’d perform on stage alongside his idols, Paolo and Miguel of Ben&Ben. That day came true at Fusion 2025. 

He also emphasized the importance of supporting local artists, noting that he wouldn’t be on stage without the encouragement of his friends, a reminder that, behind every breakthrough, is a circle of people who believed first. 

“It was fun, but there were parts that felt a bit slow since we didn’t know some of the artists,” said one attendee. “Still, I came with my cousin, so that made it better.” 

Even during the quieter moments, there was still plenty to explore beyond the main stage. Festival-goers explored interactive booths, played pre-show games, and collected exclusive perks that elevated the experience to new heights. 

Gold ticket holders soaked up VIP treatment with express entrance lanes, LED wristbands that pulsed with the music, and a Fusion Kit filled with souvenirs to remember the night. Silver and Bronze ticket holders were equally immersed, feeling the same pulse of energy and connection throughout the grounds.

“We wanted to create more than just a concert; Fusion 2025 was an immersive journey into the heart of OPM culture,” shared one of the organizers. And that’s exactly what Fusion delivered. 

As the night unfolded, the crowd jumped, danced, and sang their hearts out – proof that OPM isn’t just about the music; it’s about culture, shared emotion, and unbreakable bonds.
