Candelabra 2025: Illuminating Truth, Dreams, and Hope

No candle has ever shone brighter as DLSU Harlequin Theatre Guild proudly presented DuLa Salle 2K24: Candelabra – Wika ng Makata, SImbigat ng Katotohanan, Singgaan ng Pangarap from March 13 to 15, 2025 at the Natividad Fajardo-Rosales Gonzales Auditorium with spectacular performances, captivating song numbers, and outstanding screenplays.

Inspired by the poems written by Dr. Mesandel Arguelles, Candelabra showcased four different productions that truly encapsulated Filipino resiliency, perseverance, and bayanihan amidst the struggles of everyday life.

As stories such as Kilapsaw, King, Ngiti Sa Apoy, and Kandili took center stage, the crowd roared in cheers and applause as the performers exhibited remarkable talent that embodied the depth of the human experience and the power of storytelling in uniting communities.

With tickets selling for ₱350, students, faculty, and distinguished guests eagerly gathered to witness great talent that depicted the reality Filipinos face, while instilling hope for the betterment of the future.
